The club is long established at well over 100 years old and has been recognised as one of the finest courses in the area. The 18 hole course has stunning views of Darwen Tower which was built in 1897 to commemorate Queen Victoria’s Diamond Jubilee.

The front nine is a parkland setting on the boundary of Sunnyhurst Woodland with several water hazards and bunkers. In contrast, the back nine rises to a moorland course with more undulations and slopes, making it a real test of golf.
